Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how booking cancellations, refunds, waiting time, and no-show situations are handled for transfers booked through Istanbul Transfer.
1. Booking Deposit
A fixed booking deposit of $15 USD (or the equivalent amount in another currency) is required to confirm a transfer booking.
The online payment represents a reservation deposit. The remaining balance is paid directly to the driver at pickup using the agreed payment method.
2. Free Cancellation
Customers may cancel their booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
In such cases, the paid deposit will be refunded to the original payment method, minus any applicable payment processing fees or taxes.
3. Late Cancellation
If a booking is canceled less than 24 hours before pickup, the booking deposit becomes non-refundable.
This policy helps cover operational and reservation-related costs associated with preparing the transfer service.
4. No-Show Policy
Failure to appear at the agreed pickup location without prior notice may be treated as a no-show.
In no-show situations, the booking deposit is non-refundable.
5. Flight Delays & Flight Tracking
Customers may choose to book:
- with a valid flight number,
- or using a fixed pickup time.
For bookings that include a valid flight number, Istanbul Transfer monitors flight status and adjusts pickup timing accordingly.
Airport pickups booked with flight tracking include up to 2 hours of complimentary waiting time after landing.
If additional waiting time is required, it may be available upon request and is charged at $25 USD per additional hour.
If the booking is created using only a fixed pickup time without a flight number, flight monitoring is not provided and waiting time conditions may differ.
6. Booking Changes
Customers may request changes to pickup time or pickup/drop-off address at least 6 hours before the scheduled transfer.
If route or destination changes affect the transfer price, the customer may be required to pay the price difference directly to the driver or through the agreed payment method.
Last-minute booking modifications cannot always be guaranteed.
7. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and bank, but refunds are typically completed within 5–10 business days.
