Welcome to Istanbul Transfer. By booking a transfer through our website, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
1. About the Service
Istanbul Transfer provides private transfer booking services in Istanbul, including airport transfers between Istanbul Airport (IST), Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW), hotels, districts, and other locations within Istanbul.
Transfers are operated by partner drivers and transportation providers.
2. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after:
- the booking form is completed,
- and the required deposit payment is successfully received.
Customers will receive a booking confirmation containing transfer details.
3. Deposit & Payment
A fixed booking deposit of $15 USD (or equivalent amount in another currency) is charged during the booking process.
The remaining balance is paid directly to the driver at pickup using the agreed payment method.
Prices displayed on the website are shown in USD unless stated otherwise.
4. Flight Monitoring
Customers may book:
- using a flight number,
- or for a specific pickup time.
If a valid flight number is provided, we monitor the flight status and adjust pickup timing accordingly.
If the booking is made for a specific time without a flight number, flight tracking is not provided and the customer is responsible for arriving at the pickup location on time.
5. Waiting Time
For airport pickups booked with a valid flight number, complimentary waiting time of up to 2 hours after landing is included.
Additional waiting time may be available upon request and is charged at $25 USD per additional hour.
6. Booking Changes
Customers may request changes to pickup time or address at least 6 hours before the scheduled transfer.
If the updated route or destination affects the transfer price:
- the customer may be required to pay the difference,
- or any remaining balance adjustment will be settled directly with the driver.
Last-minute changes cannot always be guaranteed.
7. Vehicles & Vehicle Categories
Vehicle photos shown on the website are for illustrative purposes.
The exact vehicle model may vary depending on operational availability, but the booked vehicle category will be respected.
8. Luggage Policy
Standard luggage allowance is based on typical airline baggage allowances per passenger.
Customers are responsible for selecting an appropriate vehicle category for their group size and luggage amount.
Oversized or additional luggage should be communicated before the transfer.
9. Child Seats
Child seats are available upon request.
Customers should request child seats:
- during the booking process,
- or by contacting support before the transfer.
Availability cannot be guaranteed for last-minute requests.
10. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- providing accurate booking information,
- arriving at the agreed pickup location,
- keeping communication channels available during the transfer day.
Failure to appear at the pickup location without notice may be treated as a no-show.
11. Traffic & Travel Times
Estimated travel times displayed on the website are approximate and may vary depending on:
- traffic conditions,
- weather,
- road closures,
- public events,
- or other operational factors.
Istanbul Transfer is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside of reasonable control.
12. Service Availability
While we make every effort to fulfill all confirmed bookings, Istanbul Transfer reserves the right to make operational adjustments when necessary, including vehicle substitutions within the booked category.
In rare cases where a transfer cannot be provided, the paid deposit will be refunded.
